“Captain Taylor delivered an incredible experience for my family during our chartered fishing trip in the Santee River Delta.
His experience and his local knowledge were tested immediately on this chilly October morning, when even baitfish proved to be elusive. But we were quickly using shrimp to bring in multiple Redfish and Black Drums. Later in the excursion we switched strategies to successfully target Seatrout.
But what really made the trip memorable was his kindness and ability to teach my 10 yr old and 7 yr old. They had no real fishing experience as they got on the boat that morning, but left with the ability to successfully cast, set a hook, and reel-in fish - which they got to each do many times that morning.

Fishing Charter FAQS

-Santee Coastal has a fishing license that covers everyone on the charter.
-A cooler with plenty of ice and bottled waters.
-Life Jackets, first aid kit, and other safety equipment to ensure a safe and fun day on Georgetown’s waters.
-All of the fishing rods, gear, bait, and tackle that will be needed for the charter.

While a large cooler with plenty of ice and bottled waters is included, please feel free to bring any other drinks or snacks you’d like for the charter.
There are several rain jackets available to customers if needed, but bringing your own is always recommended. Your gear will probably fit and smell a lot better than the extras onboard.
Sun protection is always recommended. Since there is not a top on the boat, it is recommended for customers to bring sun protection.
Georgetown Fishing Charters are held in the swamps and marshes in the area. Please bring bug repellant if that will make your charter more comfortable.

There is not a T-top or bimini top so customers can cast easily from the vessel

4 hour fishing charter is $500
6 hour fishing charter is $700
8 hour fishing charter is $900
Tarpon charter is $650 and averages 5 hours
All rates are based on 2 anglers. Add $50 per additional person. Max of 6 people.

Eco Tours are $450
This rate is based on 4 participants. Add $50 per additional person. Max of 6 people.

Capt. Taylor holds what’s known as a 6-pack Captains License. Meaning up to 6 people can go on a charter. However 6 people can get pretty crowded on a 22’ boat.
4 customers is a good number for serious anglers.
We can organize multiple boat charters for larger groups too!

Santee Coastal’s Fishing Charters and Boat Tours most often take place on inshore waters where customers rarely get seasick. If this is a concern, please notify Capt. Taylor Bridges and he will insure a safe and calm excursion. Dramamine and Bonine are two over the counter medications often taken for motion sickness.
